June 7th Finbacks off the shore
A finback whale called loon has been staying in the area off of Provincetown's Race Point and into the areas of Cape Cod bay. It has been a quiet week with the whales but a great week to see the Atlantic White Sided Dolphins. Over the past few days sightings of the dolphins in numbers of over 200 have been sighted. White sided dolphins are a great species to see for us becouse they tend to be curious about the boats and love to ride the bow wave. The dolphins have been seen to the east of Stellwagen bank in the past week.
