Let us help your group and arrange post whale watch field trips and/or lectures about the ecology of Cape Cod and its unique bird life through the Massachusetts Audubon Society or the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
During July and August a naturalist specializing in palagic birds joins Dolphin Fleet, the oldest whale watching company in the northeast, for weekly trips out of Provincetown. In addition to the possible sightings of dolphins, humpback, finback, and minke whales, a naturalist will introduce participants to the identification and natural history of seabirds found offshore. Data will be collected on the abundance and activity of seabirds on each trip. Call the Dolphin Fleet at 1-800-826-9300 for dates and times when these bird specialist will be aboard to guide these trips. This is a wonderful addition for all birdwatchers to enjoy.
