Finbacks on the move
Despite the weather over the past week we've had some good trips. It seems the Finbacks have moved out of Cape Cod Bay and into the open waters of the Atlantic. Searching for a new sorce of food the finback whales have gone to Race Point, the northern most point of Cape Cod and east into open waters. On tuesday, 2-4 finbacks where sighted as well as 2 humpbacks east of Provincetown. Although a tough search, it was worthwhile. Wednesday was a little more difficult with restricted visibility. 2-3 finbacks sighted as well as a few harbor porpoise off of Race Point.
