The end of the 2005 season

Our last trips will be on October 30th so if you want to go in 2005 this weekend will be your last chance. October comes to a close with a good month of whalewatching. Weather was a problem the second half of the month making it difficult if not impossible to go out. There where good sightings. The whales where close to Provincetown as well as in Cape Cod bay. Along the shores of Provincetown we would often see finback whales working the slopes along the beaches. Humpbacks where seen to the west as well as the northeast. To the west into Cape Cod Bay many sightings where of feeding humpbacks where seen along with finbacks and white –sided dolphins. This was a tough October to get out on the open water to see whales. We hope that 2006 will have the same great sightings as the 2005 year did.
